Shekinah Baltimore

Lead Designer

With nearly a decade of professional design experience, Shekinah brings both architectural precision and human-centered creativity to every project she leads at Schroeder Design Build. With a background in Architecture and Environmental Design and experience spanning architectural firms and design showrooms, she specializes in translating big ideas into thoughtful, buildable designs, complete with detailed construction documents and carefully selected materials.

As a Lead Designer, she guides projects from concept through completion, collaborating closely with clients, estimators, and the production team to ensure every detail is aligned, on schedule, and beautifully executed. Known for her ability to truly listen, she has a gift for helping clients see their vision clearly and turning even the smallest ideas into spaces that feel elevated, intentional, and personal.

Outside of work, Shekinah is a passionate musician and choir director, sharing her love of music through children’s choirs and recording groups throughout the DMV area. She also serves as a youth leader at her church, mentoring young people and helping create meaningful community through service and fellowship.
