Paul A. Wilson
Architect/Lead Designer
Paul brings more than 25 years of residential design experience in the Washington, D.C. area to Schroeder Design Build. A registered architect with a PhD in architectural history, Paul leads architectural design for remodeling projects, helping guide homeowners from early concepts through design development and preparation for construction.
Known for his creative yet practical approach, Paul designs spaces that balance function, aesthetics, and project investment while responding to the individual needs of each homeowner. His background in architecture and architectural history also gives him a thoughtful perspective on how new design can work with the character and context of an existing home.
Paul is passionate about transforming the built environment and helping clients turn good homes into great places to live.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and holds national certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Outside of work, Paul enjoys cycling, sailing, camping, amateur radio, and spending time outdoors. He also serves as secretary of the Arlington Amateur Radio Club and volunteers with a Washington, D.C.-area road cycling club, helping plan events and lead rides.
